A Brain Tumor and Exalting Christ

Oct 21, 2012    Steve Fernandez

Oct 21, 2012: "A Brain Tumor and Exalting Christ" - Steve Fernandez, Senior Pastor of Community Bible Church and President of The Cornerstone Seminary provides a brief update on the joy and peace he finds in Christ, despite having been recently diagnosed with a GBM brain tumor. "Part of the reason we don't [have peace] is because we don't say thank you. I needed this. I belong in this chair. This is where I belong. Christ can get the most glory, he can be exalted the most here. Right here. So, I just want to give Him the glory...It's all about Him being glorified whether we live or die." - Steve Fernandez "WHAT THEN? Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is proclaimed, and in that I rejoice. Yes, and I will rejoice, for I know that through your prayers and the help of the Spirit of Jesus Christ this will turn out for my deliverance, as it is my eager expectation and hope that I will not be at all ashamed, but that with full courage now as always CHRIST WILL BE HONORED IN MY BODY, WHETHER BY LIFE OR BY DEATH. For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain." (Phil 1:18-21)
