Generation to come (GTC)
"That the generation to come might know, even the children yet to be born,
That they may arise and tell them to their children, That they should put their confidence in God.
And not forget the works of God, But keep His commandments,"
Psalm 78:6-7

Psalm 78:6-7
The Generation to Come program meets during the school year (September – June) serving children ages 3 to 11. The format is designed to maximize “fun-with-a-purpose!”
Children participate in worship time, game time, council time (the preached word), small group time for personal application, memory verse time, snacks, and more!
While the Sunday children’s ministry and nursery are free., the Generation to Come ministry (Wednesday nights) has a registration fee. There is an early bird discount per child if you register before the deadline.
Please note that all children who attend (Sundays and/or Wednesdays) MUST be registered so that we have their current information on file. If you do not register in advance, your child’s name will not be on the class rosters when the new ministry year begins.

FIGHTER VERSES
O how I love Your law! It is my meditation all the day. (Ps 119:97)
This is our prayer for even our youngest children. You will note that along with scripture memory, we will also be memorizing a catechism this year. A catechism is simply a summary of truth in the form of questions and answers. In order to aid your preschool children in knowing and meditating on these truths, we are asking that they memorize one Q&A and one verse per month. The entire verse is cited, but we are only going to focus on the underlined portion in their classes. Please take time to help your children to remember, understand, and live out these truths. Also, encourage them to bring their verse books to their class each week week! In Christ, Your Children’s Ministry Team

Fighter Verses
Year 5 - 2025-2026
Dear Parents,
The Word of God is our light and our path, our hope and our comfort, and our only means of peace and security. Therefore, it is absolutely vital for young and old to know it and to grow to love it. Children have amazing memories and we want to fill their hearts and minds with truth that will last!
So we will once again be memorizing fighter verses. The website fighterverses.com is a great resource regarding scripture memory for the entire family. We will be memorizing portions of year 3 of their 5 year plan. They also have a phone app available with games and other tools to make scripture memory fun for children and adults alike.
All children will memorize the same passages both in both our Sunday and Wednesday ministries in age appropriate lengths. The youngest children (Preschool ministry) will memorize one verse a month which will
be the bold section, young children (K–1st grade) will memorize the underlined part of the verse. And the older children (2–6th) will memorize the entire passage. But we would encourage you to challenge your child to learn
as much of the verse as possible, regardless of age, based on their individual ability. May Christ use His most Holy Word to save and sanctify the next generation.
In Christ,
