Exalting christ  

Exalting Christ Ministries International (ECMI) was founded in Spring 2002 because of a burden for, and strong commitment to, participate in the training, sending, and supporting of men—both nationals and U.S. missionaries—who have a passion for Christ-exalting and Christ-centered ministry.

They are men who are called by God to spread the Gospel to all the peoples of the earth. Exalting Christ Ministries International exists as a ministry of Community Bible Church of Vallejo, California, to help like-minded missionaries and global partners meet our mutual, biblical obligation to “…make disciples of all the nations” (Matthew 28:19). The ECMI missionary-sending ministry is under the governance of the Elder Board of Community Bible Church.

Our primary focus is to send and support godly partners who have been called to plant, establish, and strengthen local churches. This involves the development of local church leadership and the training of pastors and teachers around the world. We help such individuals meet their financial and other needs as they carry out the work of Christ in their varied ministries and cultures.

Among other great biblical truths, the gospel partners that we send out and support are committed to Christ-centered, expository preaching of the Word of God. They also hold to the inerrancy and sufficiency of Scripture, the doctrines of grace, the all-sufficiency of Christ, and the power of the Spirit and the Word.
