Jona Recaman serves as the teaching pastor of Iglesia Cristiana Evangelica Pontevedra, a church in the north-west corner of Spain. He also helps as an adjunct Professor and as Dean of Students at Berea Seminary, a ministry that is committed to equip pastors and church leaders nationwide to proclaim Christ, and to strengthen the local churches in his country.
Jona graduated from Lancaster Bible College, Pennsylvania, in December of 2010, and went back to Spain in 2011, to a church nearby his home church, where he served as an associate pastor for two years. After that, he was sent to the church where he is at now, in Pontevedra, a church that has been planted by his sending church.
His wife, Miriam, also graduated from Lancaster Bible College, and she serves her family as well as in their church, leading the Women’s ministries and helping with Biblical Counseling. They have been blessed with two daughters, Emma Leigh (born in 2011), and Dana Grace (born in 2013), and with one son, Eric Benjamin (born in 2017).
