Jaramy was born and raised in Hawaii. In 2003, he moved to Vallejo and began attending Community Bible Church (CBC), where in 2006 he was saved while in the youth ministry. He has served for many years in CBC’s Children’s Ministry, Youth Ministry, and Adult Ministry. He has a particular burden for discipleship and helping train up the next generation of young men to be leaders.
In 2008, the Lord first planted in Jaramy the desire to be a missionary to Japan, which grew after taking classes at The Cornerstone Bible College & Seminary. After going on a few short-term missions trips, he felt the Lord calling him to be a missionary. In 2022, he received a Bachelor's Degree in Biblical Studies from The Cornerstone Bible College and Seminary and is pursuing his Masters of Divinity to help support the ministry in Japan further.
Jaramy plans to serve at Megumi Bible Church in Tokyo, Japan, having visited and established a relationship with them since 2022. Currently, he is focusing on growing in learning the Japanese language and culture. He desires to come alongside to establish and equip the saints there through discipleship and life-on-life mentorship. Along with that, he hopes to help support and serve the church in any way necessary. Long-term, he desires to plant a church from Megumi Bible Church in one of the suburban areas surrounding Tokyo.
