Thank you for choosing Community Bible Church for your wedding ceremony and reception. 


Our wedding ministry will be available to assist in filling in all the blank areas and execute all of the couples desires to ensure their day is a blessed event.


Upon our initial meeting with the couple, we will give the couple a wedding packet to complete, and schedule dates, times, and locations for future meetings.


The wedding ministry will confirm availability of the worship center and reserve additional rooms, and add the date to the church calendar. Coordinators will also:

  1. Ensure that security is provided for the event.

  2. Ensure the couple has obtained a wedding license.

  3. Choose the wedding officiant.

  4. Choose all the songs and music for the ceremony and reception - with approved lyrics, whether live or on USB.

  5. Choose the necessary staffing for the ceremony and reception - i.e. sound technician, security, ushers, attendants for guest book and gifts, servers, and cleanup crew, etc.

  6. The couple will be able to use any items in the wedding closet for their ceremony and reception.

  7. The wedding ministry will provide an order of events for the day of their nuptials.

  8. The wedding ministry will mail the wedding license (certified mail with return receipt).

  9. Schedule rehearsal date for the event and coordinate with the couple ensuring that all participants are available. 

  10. Oversee all set up and clean up is completed of all reserved spaces. 

  11. Staffing is sufficient and has working knowledge of their duties and responsibilities.

  12. During the reception, the coordinator is in constant communication with emcee and kitchen staff/caterers.

Offsite

The Community Bible Church wedding ministry is pleased the couple has found their perfect venue. It isn't always possible that we are available to attend your event.

The wedding ministry will provide the couple with the necessary information for a smooth and seamless day.

We will provide the couple with the wedding packet to complete; schedule dates, time and location to meet..

We will ensure the couple have obtained a wedding license.

The couple will be responsible for the following:
  1. Choose an officiant to perform the wedding ceremony.
  2. Choose songs and music for the ceremony (lyrics approved by the pastor).
  3. Choose people for ushers, gift and guest book attendants, servers, etc.
  4. The wedding ministry will prepare an order of events for the ceremony.
  5. The wedding ministry will provide a copy of instructions for the ceremony rehearsal.
  6. It will be the responsibility of the couple to mail their wedding license to the appropriate county office.

**All equipment and wedding decor is the property of Community Bible Church, therefore it cannot be borrowed or removed from the church campus.
