ED & SUSAN CAGUIN

Marikina

In April 2015, Ed Caguin and his brother Raul Caguin, co-founders of Community Bible Church of Marikina (CBCM), inaugurated a church plant in Marikina. CBCM is headed by Raul Caguin as its Lead Pastor.

In January 2017, another church plant of CBC Vallejo was The Disciples of Jesus Christ Church (DJCC) with Ed Caguin the founder. The ministries of DJCC include the following: Equipping Hour (Adult Sunday School), Mobile Home Bible Study, Discipleship, Sisters in Christ Bible Study, Youth Basketball Ministry, Feed the Hungry, Mercy Ministry, Literacy for Christ Children’s Ministries (Generation to Come and Sunday School), and Gift Giving Programs (School Supplies and Christmas).

Ed and his wife Susan have a deep resolve to share the gospel specifically to social outcasts, the broken-hearted, like victims of human trafficking, orphans and street families of the people of the eastern region of Metro Manila, and hopefully throughout the Philippine Islands.

The Caguins are helping to develop a gospel-centered ministry to provide disadvantaged women a means to start anew, hopefully not only for this life but also in the life to come. Their approach to this ministry involves not only rescuing the victims in their predicament, but with active partnerships among church leaders and local government units (LGUs), to provide the training and development of these social outcasts towards becoming useful citizens of the community, even as they are spiritually transformed by the preaching of His Word. Ed and Susan have two married sons and five grandchildren.

Mark first became interested in South Africa when he met Debbie, a young South African lassie, who worked in the library of the Bible College he attended. They were married in her home church in Newcastle, South Africa in 1987. After getting married, they served an internship in Debbie’s home church for sixteen months. Upon returning to the States in late 1988, they knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that God wanted them to return to South Africa. After graduating from The Master’s Seminary in May 1994, they hastily raised the support they would need to return to the land they love so much! Mark and Debbie have two adult children, Janelle and Micaiah.
