CW is Pastor of Disciples Community Church (DCC) for 48 years. Most of those attending are first generation disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ. The present core team of 4 continue to be extremely busy, finding it a challenge to give time to take on responsibilities as Elders. Most work over 12 hours a day, mostly in shifts that oftentimes means working half the day and half the nights. This is a serious prayer request — that God would raise elders.
CW also oversees a Mission Agency, which trains church-planters in the local language. One such is at a local church primarily working amongst gypsies. PTS conducts a quarterly weeklong Preachers’ Academy for pastors and leaders unable to participate in residential long-term training. This Quarterly Training is now being held in 4 separate locations and attended by about 25 pastors in each place. CW makes regular trips to graduates in different locations of the country as well as neighboring ones to encourage and shepherd them and their families.
CW's burden is to train men in local churches for local church ministry, and outreach closely related to church-planting. CW has been married to LW for 51+ years. His wife ministers to the DCC women, translates edifying materials for online distribution (now reaching 4,000+), writes books/booklets, and distributes an e-mag to people all over their state. They have 2 married sons, who are both pastors, and 7 grandchildren.
