Nursery Health Update & Reminder
Dear CBC Parents,
You are receiving this message because our records indicate that your child checked into the CBC Nursery yesterday (11/2/2025) during the 10:30 AM service. Please ignore this message if this is in error.
We wanted to make you aware of a situation from yesterday in 10:30 AM nursery. One of the children who attended was recently diagnosed with Hand, Foot & Mouth Disease. At the time of check-in, the parents believed the symptoms were related to teething, and were unaware of the diagnosis.
We are sharing this simply so that you may take whatever precautions you feel are appropriate for your family over the next few days. Hand, Foot & Mouth is generally mild, but it can spread easily—so if you notice unusual rash, fever, small mouth sores, or other symptoms in your child, we encourage you to consult your pediatrician and use your best judgment regarding participation in nursery or children’s ministry this week.
This is also a good reminder for all of us: if your child is showing signs of illness of any kind (fever, rashes, persistent cough, stomach issues, unusual lethargy, etc.), please err on the side of caution and stay home. This helps protect all of our families and our volunteers.
