Adrian and Stephanie Donato

Adrian is a full time professor and the Dean of Ministerios Evangélicos de Las Americas (MEDA). As an instructor, Adrian provides intensive instruction to Pastors and their key lay leaders from all over Central America with a view to equipping them to exhort in sound doctrine and refute those who contradict (Tit. 1:9). Adrian accomplishes this through various weekend conferences consisting in 12 hours of intensive training, as well, as through the MEDA Preacher’s School, which an intensive expository is preaching program consisting in 200 hours of training throughout the course of one year. As Dean of the MEDA Seminary for Expository Preaching, Adrian is involved in much of the planning and administrative aspects pertaining to the launching of this new work in 2006. Adrian maintains a strong commitment to his local church in Honduras and is an elder candidate of, “La Iglesia Centroamericana Ebenezer,” where he is currently preaching through the book of Titus.

History
MEDA was established in 1998 to train pastors from all evangelical denominations in Honduras and a growing number of other Central American countries. Currently, more than 100 churches send men for training. Our purpose is to give pastors and church leaders the necessary training in biblical studies to faithfully shepherd the flock of God.
Training
MEDA offers two training programs. The first is a series of conferences offered throughout the year, which are generally 3 days long, allowing pastors to receive intense study (13 or more hours) in a short amount of time, so as not to cause a considerable disruption to their already busy ministry schedule. The second program is an Expository Preacher's School. It offers a more intense level of education to those who desire to develop their skills in preaching expository sermons. It is currently a five-week course. In 2006 there is the plan to begin a seminary.
